Baiting Your Zapper
Just like people, rodents can have different tastes and preferences.
We’ve found that ordinary dry pet food is an effective lure for rodents.
If you or your domestic critters like something, most likely your rodents will
too.
Here is a brief list of some of our staff and customer favorites:
- Sweet feed
- Trail mix
- Brownie
- Birdseed
- Citrus peel
- Oatmeal cookie
- Chicken scratch
- Goldfish crackers
- Candy corn
- Peanut Butter placed in a plastic bottle cap
- Grapes
ANYTHING gooey, oily, or salted should first be placed in a plastic
bottle cap or you could end up with a big mess. Salted nuts and seeds
can cause corrosion to the plates in the bottom of your unit.
Don’t be afraid to experiment; if the rodents turn their noses up try
something else. Observe what they’ve been attracted to in your home or
yard. |
